THE YOUNGSTOWN PLAYHOUSE YOUTH THEATRE RECEIVES $10,000 GRANT FROM THE WALTER E. & CAROLINE H. WATSON FOUNDATION

Youngstown, OH (January 5, 2024): The Youngstown Playhouse has received a $10,000 grant from the Walter E. &
Caroline H. Watson Foundation. The grant will be used to support its Youth Theatre and educational programming,
including the upcoming production of “Alice in Wonderland,” playing January 19 to 21, 2024.
States Dr. John Cox, Board President, “The Youngstown Playhouse extends our deep gratitude to the Walter E. &
Caroline H. Watson Foundation for its support of our Youth Theatre, which engages hundreds of young people
each year through fully staged productions and classes. As we prepare to celebrate our 100th Anniversary in 2024,
support from funders such as the Walter E. & Caroline H. Watson Foundation and PNC Charitable Trusts is crucial
to deepening the impact of the performing arts in the Mahoning Valley.”
Adapted by Jason Pizzarello and directed by Eden Lesnansky, “Alice in Wonderland” features a cast including Trudi
Herrholtz, Lillian Gerst, Ace Johnson, Remington Playforth, Trip Matthews, Milo Hart, Sydnie Schoening, Theo Hart,
Izabell Krekus, Matt Duster, Finlay Andrei, Juniper Meese, Sydney Littleton, Audrie Rostan, Nina Boyer, Thomas
Wilson, Donovan Stringer, Alex Cook, Caia M. Colemon, Mara Hart, Marissa McKenzie, Connor Fitzpatrick, Ellie
Moliterno, Fallon Sullivan, Coraline Collins, Louis Xias, Maven Burick, Emelia Cvengros, and Adrien Bonner. Isa Foltz
serves as stage manager.
