COMMUNITY SUPPORTS COMMUNITY THEATRE

The 2026/2027 season will once again feature Main Stage productions as well as productions in the Moyer Room black box theatre and the newly established Playhouse Downtown in the historic Morley Building on Boardman Street downtown. The 2026/2027 season will include 8 shows including 4 musicals, 2 dramas, and 2 comedies.

Since income from ticket sales covers only 35% of our operating costs, the Youngstown Playhouse relies on philanthropic support to provide community theatre as well as community outreach and educational programming.

Looking forward to our next 100 years of operation, The Youngstown Playhouse is committed to its mission of presenting quality theatre arts performances, providing educational initiatives, and establishing and maintaining community partnerships.
