YOUNGSTOWN, OH (January 8, 2025): The Friends of The Playhouse presents Norm Foster’s sparkling comedy Love List in the intimate Moyer Room, running January 31 to February 2 and February 7 to February 9, 2025.

In this side-splitting and thought-provoking play, two friends, Leon and Bill, draft a list of the top ten qualities in an ideal mate. However, when their “perfect woman” miraculously appears, they discover the pitfalls of perfection and learn their list might need some serious revisions. With witty humor and insightful commentary on relationships, Love List promises a night of laughter and reflection.

The production features a talented cast: Brendan Boyle as Bill; Shawn Lockaton as Leon; and Jaclyn-Sarah Senich as Justine. Directed by Ben Gavitt, with Marie Keene James as assistant director and stage manager, this show is a must-see for fans of Norm Foster, often dubbed the “Neil Simon of Canada.”

“Just when you think that something’s perfect… you start tweaking it and then you see it’s not so perfect after all,” says director Ben Gavitt.
