About the show
For over four decades keyboardist/producer James Lloyd has been maintaining his status as a top tier musician in the Smooth Jazz and R&B genres. He was still in high school when he and fellow musicians Curtis Harmon and Cedric Napolean founded their band, Pieces of a Dream, which because a huge Billboard charting success. Lloyd continues to perform and record with Pieces, though he also enjoys a successful solo career as an artist and producer. He has released his own music to rave reviews and has recorded with, produced or supported a roster of talent to large to number.Flutist Alexander Zonjic was discovered in the early 1980s by legendary pianist Bob James while performing in a club in Detroit. Over the years he has had Billboard charting songs and has released several albums, including ‘Playing it Forward’ on which the lead single ‘Motor City Sway’ was written and produced by James Lloyd.
