About the show

Written by Jonathan Larson, the iconic musical, Rent is set at the height of the 1990s HIV/AIDS epidemic on the Lower East Side New York City. The story follows a group of young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create, as they find the ability to stay positive while facing the obstacles of sickness, poverty, and death. RENT has bridged generational gaps teaching audiences of all ages to measure our life in love.

Tickets may be purchased in-person at the DeYor Performing Arts Center Box Office Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm.

Ticket sales will be available 1 hour prior to performances at The Youngstown Playhouse.

Online ticket sales will close two hours prior to doors opening on the event date.
