Youngstown, OH (June 15, 2022): Flex Passes for the Youngstown Playhouse 2023/2024 Season will be available beginning on Friday, June 16, 2023 online and in person during the run of The 39 Steps which opens Friday, June 16 at the Youngstown Playhouse.

The Youngstown Playhouse has provided community theatre to Youngstown and the surrounding area for almost 100 years. The 2023/2024 season line-up continues to bring a variety of genres to the Playhouse stage. The season will include ten shows, including four musicals, three dramas, and two comedies.

“I am very excited about our upcoming, 99th Season,” said John Cox, Youngstown Playhouse Board President. “I think we have a good mix of shows to satisfy our audiences and our brilliant performers. We focused on the Directors this year more than ever. We have some new faces and a couple of tested veterans returning. Having a passionate storyteller directing a show only enhances the experience for the actor and the audience.”

The 2023/2024 season will open on Friday, September 22 with Little Shop of Horrors on the Main Stage, directed by Robert Dennick Joki. For show details, see the show listing and descriptions below.

2023/2024 Flex Pass subscriptions will go on sale Friday, June 16 and will be available in three pricing tiers. Passes are valid for four (4) performances within the season. Special pricing for Flex Pass subscriptions is available now through August 6, 2023. Subscriptions start at $48 plus a $4 fee per pass purchased. Individual tickets will also be available for each performance in a scaled pricing model of $17, $22, and $27 plus a $4 fee per ticket. Individual tickets will go on sale six (6) weeks prior to each show’s opening.
